Meetings

General Meetings:

This is the time for all club members to exercise their voting rights on all matters of Club business and raise topics for consideration. It is also a great time to catch up and socialise with friends.
General meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month commencing at 7pm at the clubhouse in the recreational grounds near the Burrum Heads Bowls Club.

Annual General Meeting:

The Annual General Meeting is held each July (after the ‘end of season’ presentation night) at 7pm in the clubhouse at the recreational grounds near the Burrum Heads Bowls Club. Nominations are received for all positions and voting takes place to elect a new committee.

All members will be notified of the AGM via email, a public notice, and on the BBQ weekend one month prior to the date with details of the processes to be followed.

Members are encouraged to consider how their life skills and experiences can contribute to best practice in the running the Club. We encourage all members to actively participate in management of the club.

Management Committee Meeting

The Management Committee develops policy, acts on matters referred to it from the General meeting, and undertakes the administrative functions necessary to meet the legal obligations of a not for profit organisation under the Corporations Act 2011

Meetings are held monthly at 7pm on the first Tuesday of each month in the clubhouse at the recreational grounds near the Burrum Heads Bowls Club.

EASTER CLASSIC Sub-Committee MEETING

Your contribution is vital to ensure that the ONE annual fundraiser the Club relies on, is a winner. Your organisational skills and practical knowledge play an important role in planning, and the completion of, the myriad tasks which ensure the Easter Classic takes shape and then comes to a full and successful family fun activity.

Easter Classic Sub-committee meetings typically commence in October of any given year. Starting on a monthly basis and shifting to a fortnightly basis as the Easter Classic draws near. The committee meets at 7pm at the clubhouse in the recreational grounds near the Burrum Heads Bowls Club.
